| As soon as the gates of Highgate Park open you realise what a wonderful tranquil area it is. All of the development is landscaped and maintained by a leading landscape company to the highest standards.
We have a lockbox so that you can drive straight to the villa from the airport - and codes for Highgate, the lockbox and the monitored alarm will be sent to you before your stay The Great Room: This is the main reason why we fell in love with this villa and is the heart of this home. The friendly sociable atmosphere is wonderful. The room has a fully fitted and equipped kitchen, 2 dining areas and a seating area with large flat screen cable TV. A DVD player and films are provided as is an i-pod dock. There is a CD radio which can be taken out by the pool if you wish. There is direct access out to our fabulous pool area. Master Bedroom: King size bed, flat screen cable TV, walk in closet and huge master bathroom. Also has direct access out to the pool area. Queen bedroom: Queen bed, flat screen cable TV and adjacent to a full bathroom. 2 Twin rooms: Both contain 2 beds, flat screen cable TV and closet space and share a Jack and Jill bathroom which is divided into two areas to give privacy when required. There is also a washer and drier for guest use - so pack light! GAMES ROOM - Carpeted throughout. Pool table, air hockey, foosball, electronic basketball and darts. Play or watch - the choice is yours - fun for all ages. The highlight for many is the pool area which we have extended out beyond the pool to provide more sunbathing area. There are plenty of sunloungers, a table and chairs for dining out and of course the wonderful pool and spa. The pool can be heated (additional cost) during the winter months and we have a solar cover to help keep that heat in. The planting is designed to provide interest and colour for as much of the year as possible. We have great electric domed barbeque - no gas bottles to fill or cause a hazard - the added bonus is that it cooks to perfection,heats up really quickly and cleans easily. Even hardened gas fans have been converted! FREE Broadband wi-fi internet access - take your laptop/notebook and keep in touch with the family or even work from the villa. PHONE BONUS - for our US and Canadian guests we have long distance phone calls included - you can keep in touch with home at no extra expense. REST OF THE WORLD - long distance means that you can book a restaurant or order tickets - beware of local calls only - that can mean not being able to call Disney World from villas in our area!! Local really means local in the US. TOTS:Pack and play crib and high chair for our smaller guests - available free of charge. We also have strollers/pushchairs and a changing mat in the villa for your convenience. We have also provided a bed rail for toddlers and a door gate if your youngster tends to wander. We have a pool safety fence and the 'home' mode of the alarm gives an audible warning if they open an exterior door. Thoroughly road tested by our grandson Harry. Highgate Park employs a security company to ensure that not only is it safe but that they can assist guests if need be. Fully managed by an experienced local company available 24/7 if needed. | How do I pay? We accept credit/debit card payments through Paypal - you do not need a Paypal account - we generate an invoice and you pay through their secure website. We do also accept check payment or direct into our bank account if you prefer internet banking. Please make sure that your payment has time to clear which ever way you pay. You can pay either way in GB Pounds or US Dollars - which ever is the easiest for you. Who am I dealing with? My name is Jean. You are a person to us not a reference number .You are dealing directly with the people who know this home best - the owners. We advertise on lots of rental sites but you are always dealing with us. We believe that way we can give you the best service. The home that we advertise is the one you will stay in. We are always available to answer any question, offer advice or suggestions either via email or on the phone. We realise that your holiday is one of the most important occasions of the year and that not one size fits all - we will try and help with special requests if you have any. We have already had an engagement, a wedding, a honeymoon and a baby to celebrate so we can help with most requests. What facilities do you have for small children? Like all homes of the same age we have a pool safety fence - which is required by law. Luckily our deck area is very large on both sides of that fence so if you have small children and the fence is up you still have room to move around - some deck areas are very restricted. We also provide a pack and play crib, high chair, change mat, bed rail and door safety gate FREE of CHARGE to guests. In addition we have the option of making up the twin beds with either Disney Princess or Toy Story bedding. We hope that it will persuade them to go to bed so you get some rest too. Please let us know if you require that option as most of the time the beds are made up with ordinary bedding. I don't want to go to the theme parks what can I do? When people think about Florida they assume that there is nothing else apart from the theme parks. How about some real parks - the National Parks of Florida offer a very cheap day out, ($4 per car) and they have lots to offer from water sports, biking, walking and swimming in the hot springs with the manatees. Elsewhere are chances to go trail riding and see a real rodeo. St Augustine is the oldest European settlement in the US - many properties perfectly preserved and the addition of a Fountain of Youth. Get up close an personal with the wildlife on an airboat ride or glide above it all in a hot air balloon. You see it is so much more the the home of Mickey Mouse. In addition to that you can just spend your time out by the pool, bubble in the spa, have a barbeque. Many guests have commented that the best part of their stay has been our home and the children have asked 'when are we going home'. If you really want to get away and totally chill out you can do that by not going anywhere but Moorgate Villa. What does the price include? The price per week is for the whole villa - it is up to you how many people you want to stay - up the maximum of 10 (2 will have to use the sofa bed though with this option). We do not charge for under occupancy. The villa ia cleaned before your stay and all taxes are included in the rate. The only optional extra is pool heat - this may be needed October to April inclusive- but if you do not swim or are going to be at the parks all day it is just that -an OPTION. All towels and linens are provided - but please do not take away from the villa. Do we need a car? The honest answer is yes - unless you are going to stay in the villa the whole time and order in food you will be lost without a car. The maps for the area are not very good so we suggest that you either take your own sat nav (if you have US maps) or hire one with your car. Trust me,from experience it will save no end of arguments -plus the journeys are less stressful as the system will tell you which lane to be in and which exit to take. We also send out a shortcut to Disney if needed with your arrival details. How far away are the shops, restaurants and the theme parks etc? You are less than 10 minutes away from a choice of supermarkets , banks, ATM machines, restaurants. There are additions each time we go so it it hard to keep up - and naturally we have to test each one! There is also a lot of choice of restaurants on the 192 - to suit every taste and pocket. The local library opposite Walmart(10 mins) has internet access free of charge. Within 15 minutes you can be knocking on Mickey's door. All the other parks are less than 30 minutes away. The Gulf and Atlantic coasts are aprroximately 1 hour away. Orlando International airport approx 30 minutes, Sanford 50 minutes drive. Where is Highgate Park and why should I book? Highgate Park is a gated development off Highway 27, close to the 'Four Corners' area where the 192 meets the 27, we bought there because of its location close to all the attractions. The whole of Highgate is maintained by a local landscaping company so all the gardens are kept neat and tidy. I have the privilege to be President of our Home Owners Asssociation and we work tirelessly to ensure that the high standards are maintained and that improvements are in keeping with our plan to maintain Highgate Park as one of the most desirable locations in the area. Most people who have been to Highgate Park return and tell their friends about it as it is a beautifully kept, quiet location and the homes all have great layouts to enable you to enjoy your time away. As well as landscaping we also employ the security company and a new concierge trash service to ensure Highgate Park really is perfect whenever you arrive. |

| The major problem with this place is 'HAVING TO LEAVE'.For a family or people needing space this is the spot.Super clean, furnishings are all new and every thing you need is there except the food.There is a Wal-mart the size of 4 football fields(that has all you need) just minutes away.Try staying in a motel with 2 small children and no washer or dryer? The washer and dryer were a life saver.Upon arrival the handyman was there checking to make sure everything was ok and he noticed we had 2 small children and asked if a crib would be useful. My daughter-in-law said it would and 10 minutes later he shows up with a BRAND NEW crib.Although it was cool at night the heated pool meant swim when you like and we did.The park is gated but I felt very safe in the area gated or not. '

The game room and pool were truly a hit. We loved it so much we are looking into buying one of our own. At around $140/night, it was well worth it. The floor plan worked perfectly. | 'was a homely home and was at its best a retreat when the mainstream themeparks needed a break to unwind from,the location was perfect,at most 30 mins away from the main attractions and yet isolated on the outskirts to give a feeling of peace, freedom and privacy,so much more to offer than a hotel suite could ever provide.all the main shopping and food supplies are just on hand too.it catered for everyones needs too,from our two sons 8months and 8yrs to those who wanted to enjoy the sun at any opportunity,the pool and games room provided an unlimited amount of fun and was a lifesaver to me because it gave myself a much needed break from driving,from the moment my family entered the house,it oozed hospitality and a sense of warmth,and those elements allowed us as a family to have a holiday of a lifetime.'

| The house was amazing, comfortable, and clean! We were very impressed! Teenagers enjoyed the games room, and we all enjoyed the pool and hot tub...a little too hot... the pool... but can be expected for the month of August. It was so great to come home after a long and busy day at the Disney Parks and relax and unwind! We definitely hope to rent again and see some other sites in Florida. | Hello Jean, just a note to say thank you so much for your call this morning regarding the volcano We will keep monitoring the news, and the virgin atlantic website and whilst it would be lovely to stay a few more days, you're right - if our flight is available, we will get on it!
It occurred to me when I put the phone down that I hadn't commented on the villa - it really is fabulous and even though we had seen the pictures online, it is so spacious and lovely when you are here. You really have thought of everything and there is nothing we could honestly suggest to improve it. I can see now why you had the poolside area extended - we would really miss being able to sit out there in the sunshine. In fact, that is where I am going now!
